Jeam Out of Town Blog Hub (Outoftownblog.com) – With its year-round crisp mountain air and breathtaking panorama, the city of Tagaytay, along with its neighboring towns, is among Luzon’s top tourist destinations and a favorite getaway from Metro Manilans.

Railay Presidential Suite

It is also a sought-after venue for weddings and receptions due to the romantic ambiance that this hill station evokes.

To reposition Tagaytay Ridge as a wedding haven after the Taal Volcano eruption and the Covid-19 pandemic, The Oriental Luxury Suites recently hosted the Wedding Coffee Date, a one-day exhibition showcasing the best service providers in the region.

Located along Tagaytay National Road in Alfonso, Cavite, The Oriental is a royal Thai boutique hotel overlooking Taal Lake and Volcano. It boasts a reception hall that can accommodate 200 people, exquisite Asian furnishings, six intimate executive suites, a presidential suite and a hill station ambience that will transport you to the ancient Siamese kingdom. .

As the official reception venue, the hotel offers a pre-wedding shoot package worth P25,000 which covers 8 hours daily use of an executive room, swimming pool and common areas for the couple, the entourage and family members, make-up artists, videographers and photographers.

Featured exhibitors were Town’s Delight Catering and Events, Moments by Ruffa, DT Sounds and Lights and Freshminds Photography who offered their services for a flawless and memorable wedding reception.

The Wedding Coffee Date is envisioned as a quarterly fair to entice couples from Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas and other parts of Luzon to get married in the romantic resort town and reinvigorate the special events industry in the region.

Beyond weddings, the Oriental seeks to become an aspirational destination for hip travelers who prefer intimate yet stylish accommodations away from the madding crowds.

It’s only minutes from resorts and popular farm-and-garden-themed restaurants, which tourism and health authorities consider safe havens in the age of the pandemic.
