This summer in North Fork, look no further than Demarchelier Bistro for the perfect escape. Tranquility and French-inspired elegance are found at the famous Greenport Restaurant.

In the heart of the village, exquisite dishes of French cuisine are served in this family establishment which offers a menu of rich cultural expressions.

Demarchelier Bistro showcases a casual environment balanced with artistic Parisian design. From marble tables and an antique bar counter, to outdoor seating and colorful paintings by the owner’s father – famed artist Eric Demarchelier – on the wall, the atmosphere of Demarchelier makes it the perfect East End stay for a quick bite, a romantic date or a nice meal with family and friends.

Owner Emily Demarchelier takes great pride in the restaurant which every summer is a great choice for dining in the waterfront area. Authenticity of divine dishes mixed with friendly and beyond expectation service has locals and tourists alike flocking to the restaurant.

Demarchelier Bistro offers French café classics such as steak tartare, duck confit, classic niçoise salad, pomme dauphine and quiche of the day. In addition, a prefixed $39 menu is available Monday through Thursday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

There’s also a superb selection of cheeses that highlight a cheese fondue or chef’s selections; as well as charcuterie with the delights of Bayonne Ham, Chorizo, Garlic Saucisson, Sausage, Country Pâté, Duck Rilette and Foie Gras. And to further create the sense of the ultimate food journey, Demarchelier Bistro captivates with a dessert menu made up of delicious sweets such as chocolate fondant or crème brûlée. Additionally, the wine selections put the country’s vineyards front and center.

To add to the already splendid menu, a happy hour offer with $8 glasses of rosé wine, $8 pastis, as well as tapas specials from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.

In addition, the restaurant will host an art exhibition where Eric Demarchelier will present its latest achievements. The thrilling show is a tribute to his late brother and photographer, Patrick Demarchelier. Eric’s recent collection of paintings is based on Patrick’s photographs which will be displayed side by side.

With all of this and more, ferry service direct from Sag Harbor is also expected to launch later this summer. The new line will provide an easy way to get to the hotspot dining destination from the South Fork.

To visit Demarchelier Bistro is about taking the best of both worlds and blending them together to create an amazing dining experience.
