Let’s Talk Womxn Milwaukeea grassroots movement led by a group of women food and beverage business owners, is hosting a free networking event Nov. 15 from 4-6 p.m. at the Honeypie Cafe, 2569 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
During the event – which is designed to be fun and laid back – attendees can network with other restaurant industry business owners, meet current members of Let’s Talk Womxn Milwaukee and learn more about the movement, which fosters collaboration, empowers women-owned businesses, and builds economic power and growth.
Ultimately, it’s a great opportunity to connect with the amazing women who make our city’s food and drink scene so great.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Rohini Dey, Ph.D., the Chicago-based restaurateur who founded the Women’s Talk Forum with 10 more women in 2020. Since then, the movement has grown to include over 700 entrepreneurs in over 14 cities across the country.
Drinks and snacks will be available during the event.
Want to attend? The event is free, but RSVPs are required. Just send a note to [email protected] to attend.
