Marino said on Facebook: “We built during lockdown, we opened limited hours, we opened for takeout, we cooked at home, we only had outdoor seating, we became a Christmas market, Longridge hot dogs, an amazing brunch! Weekend 2-4-1 cocktails, £5 pizza flash deals, we’ve got your birthdays, business meetings and special occasions catered for.

“We fought so hard…. we had our fair share of online abuse that we took on the chin…but the fight had to end soft and underplayed.

Marino explained that he needed to focus on other issues in his life and apologized to everyone he upset during his trip.

He concluded by saying, “My whole amazing team, my amazing customers, my awesome neighbors (5-in-1 boys!), the routine of seeing people pass by, all of the customers’ dogs, fighting for parking with the staff will miss. . My beautiful wood oven.
