West Seattle Blog… | Six options for the first West Seattle Friday of July

If you’re not busy getting ready for a holiday weekend, here are five possibilities for the rest of this sunny Friday:

(added) FOOD FUNDRAISING: Chef Gino of TheHomeSkillit.com cooks and sells food to help raise funds for his 4th of July event to feed those in need. Find him until 6 p.m. today outside The reception deposit (SW Webster west of Delridge).

PADDING POOLS OPEN: Sunny and warm today, the city will therefore open the swimming pools scheduled for operations on Friday. In West Seattle, that means Delridge (4501 Delridge Way SW), noon to 5:30 p.m., and Lincoln Park (8011 Fauntleroy Way SW), noon to 7 p.m. Highland Park Water Park at 1100 SW Cloverdale is also open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

COLMAN POOL: The outdoor swimming pool Lincoln Park will be open today as its 7-day-a-week schedule continues, from noon to 7 p.m.

(added) BASEBALL: The DubSea Fish Fingers host Diamond Sports at Steve Cox Memorial Park (1321 SW 102nd, White Center) at 7:05 p.m. Tickets here!
